Article 1: GOP Club Wins State Competition / The Spotsylvania-Fredericksburg Young Republican Club today turned over to House of Delegates candidate Paige Young a $250 first-prize award won in a fund raising contest. / The club competed with other clubs all across the state in raising money for House of Delegates candidates in their areas. / It raised a total of $1,168. 48 for the Young campaign, including $165 raised by the Mary Washington College Young Republican chapter. / John Adams, president of the Spotsylvania chapter, and Barri Ann Holden, MWC president, turned the $250 first prize check over to Young this morning.
