Item 1: Ferry Farm Baptist Church / PAIGE A. YOUNG, PASTOR / TELEPHONE: 373-1083 FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA 22401 / February 24, 1968 / Miss Bari Holden / Box 2464 College Station / Fredericksburg, Virginia / Dear Bari, / I want to express my sincere appreciation to you and all the girls who worked so diligently during my campaign for the Virginia House of Delegates in 1967. / I have never been more impressed with the dedication of any group. Your loyalty and devotion to the efforts we made on behalf of good government are prime examples of the way all citizens should view the sacred right to elect their representatives. / I hesitate to try to enumerate all the services your group rendered, but the long hours of behind-the-scenes labor really formed the back-bone of our organization. The hours spent in typing voter lists, the large amount of money raised, the time spent manning the headquarters, plus your enthusiasm provided the impetus so vital to a political campaign. Beyond a doubt, your organization must be the finest Young Republican representative in the state. Thank you all for your work. / Sincerely, / Paige A. Young
