Article 1: Mortar Board Taps 15; Ashelford Top Soph / Fifteen Mary Washington College juniors have been selected for membership in the Mary Washington College Chapter of Mortar Board, National Senior Honor Society for women students. / The new initiates were tapped by senior members of Mortar Board during an annual ceremony held here Monday, April 18. / Also, Miss Mary Ellen Ashelford of Oxford, Connecticut, was named outstanding sophomore by the active members of the local honor group. / Membership in Mortar Board is based on outstanding leadership, scholarship, and service to the College. / The new members are: / ELIZABETH ANNE ADAMS—daughter of Mr. John L. Article 2: Muick Exhibits ‘Relief’ Sculpture / Dr. Paul C. Muick, Assistant Professor of Art at Mary Washington College, has had his sculpture, “Relief Totem No. 1,” accepted in the 1966 Artists of the Southeast and Texas Exhibition at the Isaac Delgado Museum of Art in New Orleans.
