Item 1: THE TRUMPETER / A publication of MWC Young Republicans / BOX 1968 COLLEGE STATION FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA / WELCOME BACK!!! / MWC Young Republicans kept active this summer on and off campus. Hot dogs were sold in the dorms on Tuesday nights to raise money for the club. Workers also went down to our new club headquarters on Sunken Road to get it into good working condition for this year’s activities. (Work on this project has been halted until after November 5.) On this campaign level several YRs, under the leadership of Marti Blair, typed 300 letters for our 8th District Congressman, Bill Scott asking his constituents for their active support. Mrs. Hancock of the Congressman’s Fredericksburg sends her special thanks to Nancy Cash, Bitty McCorkle, Genie Allen, Paula Scotti, Joan Mysiac, Pat Shoemaker, Juleane Brandis, Marti Blair, Nikki Fowler, and Trish Little for their efforts.
